Why now

MMotivationMotivation: builds desire, proof, identification

Show what changed in the world that makes this problem newly solvable, or newly urgent.

It’s working when

  • +Names a concrete shift (technology, regulation, market) with a rough date
  • +Connects the shift to the reader: what it makes possible for them
  • +Implies a cost to waiting without fake countdown urgency

How this usually goes wrong

'The world is changing faster than ever' is a why-now with no actual event. Without a specific shift, the section reads as filler and the manifesto loses its claim to timeliness.
