Before / after

MMotivationMotivation: builds desire, proof, identification

Place the old workflow and the new one side by side so the compression is undeniable.

It’s working when

  • +Both columns describe the same job with the same scope: a fair fight
  • +The 'before' is recognizably the reader's current reality
  • +The delta is quantified: steps removed, hours saved, tools retired

How this usually goes wrong

The 'before' is a strawman no competent team would recognize as their process. The reader distrusts the comparison, and by extension the product that needed to cheat.
